Concerning the “Jehovah Jireh Church” in Hinche, we received donations large enough to pay for the roof and the concrete for a floor….with $5 to spare. No kidding. We hadn’t looked at the final tally of the receipts until the end, and the total cost was exactly $5 under the amount given. Praise God!

The Haitian congregation worked to do all that was necessary to put up the roof in about 3 days. They wanted it on! This church couldn’t meet if it was rainy, but now they can worship while the rain sounds off loud on the tin roof. It was really a blessing to be a part of helping with this project. It’s nothing super fancy, but to them it is top notch. Thank you. Trust me, they praise God “because of your obedience that accompanies your confession” (2 Cor. 9:13) This is our goal: that God would receive more praise, that He would be glorified and worshiped!
