Recently I returned from Haiti with an exciting report of 9 people saved through the Adonai Gospel Church revival meetings and 1 more person at the medical outreach at the Mission Center! Two people were baptized to show their allegiance to following Christ.
At the medical outreach (more pictures here), over 130 people were helped; we saw everything from fungus on bodies to the need for salvation. Babies were treated, adults were treated, elderly were treated, and many were prayed for in Jesus’ Name. This team of doctors serving in Tinot was a gift from God to share the love of Christ with the people in their very difficult circumstances.
Though there were many problems during this past trip with the vehicle (tires going flat and wheels totally falling off!), God’s grace propels us through. Please stop by and read one story about a family whose lives beautifully illustrate God’s grace winning a decisive victory!! We are so thankful to be serving in this place of the world!

Imagine for a few minutes with me that your family is getting ready to go to Haiti for 11 weeks. Now imagine all that’s required in getting ready for such an adventure…
It requires a lot of planning and much more grace. You couldn’t do it on your own, nor would you be expected to do so. Jesus Christ the Head, as LORD, tells everyone what to do. We just have to listen to Him and believe that God is more than able to work out all the details. If one person doesn’t listen, God looks for someone else who will. I’ve learned that there is grace for every circumstance. The Call to evangelize in Haiti is one of the most exciting and difficult things we’ve ever done. Thank you for caring, praying, giving, and sharing with us in this responsibility because, when you do these things, you ARE going to Haiti. You are with us in spirit, and God will be faithful to reward you. Thank you.

Would you pray about how God would have you help prepare for this trip? As you may already know, we are nearing completion of the goal for the Mission Center building fund and are now able to sleep there in Tinot, Haiti. As with any move-in, we would like to have a housewarming party, Missionary style — and you are invited! Visit this sign-up site to find a list of the different items that we need for spending the summer in Haiti. (These items can be new, but used is great, too!) While it’s not a comprehensive list, it will help us to have much of what we anticipate needing.
Please commit to pray for us as often as you pray, and I believe we will see God move like never before. This summer, starting in mid-May, we will continue to work with the church in Tinot, to evangelize in the remote parts of Haiti, to provide Bibles, and to prepare the Mission Center to host small evangelism teams as we are working there.
