Can the daughter of a witch doctor get saved?

Hello Friend,

Wow, we just got back from another month in Haiti, and what a great time seeing people saved! We have an awesome report with a lot to say, so just click the link(s) if a story interests you, and praise the Lord with us!

The words on the well house thanks the donors and honors with the Lord as the Provider with His Word from Isaiah 44:3, “For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.”

One of our bigger goals for this trip was to dig a well for the community of Kandelon. The Lord provided the funds, a driller, and a team to do the building, and then we even found someone to do the painting. The well and its house was quickly completed, and the people were pumping water in no time! Because we had asked them to pray when the project wasn’t moving forward this spring, the community is super excited to see it happen so quickly this summer — and they know it was only God who answered their prayers!!

Five men discovered true freedom that comes only from Christ Jesus!

One day, as we were praying to find out what God would have us to do, He led us to the jail in Pignon. We met several men and all were hungry for the Gospel, forgiveness, and the promise of God to make all things new. These five men bowed down in that cell and called to the Lord. The next morning we were able to bring them breakfast and encourage their faith with Bibles and info. (In Haiti, if the family doesn’t bring food to the jail, the inmate doesn’t eat!)

Lastly, and most exciting, is the salvation of Neland. She is the daughter of a witchdoctor. It was a dramatic break from her family, and a long process for her to receive Christ, but, praise God, she was saved and then baptized soon after! She and her husband Nizon are new believers and could use your prayers for strength and provision. They are wanting to get married soon (they already have had a family for many years) so as to live their lives totally in God’s will.  All in all, during the trip, 8 were saved and 1 baptized.

While there, we had the opportunity to buy fabric and other school supplies for the sponsored kids. School is just about to start and, for those kids who have school sponsorships, it is making such a difference in their lives now, as well as for the future as well! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
